CALENDAR 2025A


  • Unregistering due date: Tuesday, 18 March.
  • Holidays: Mondays 03 and 17 March, and 05 May.
  • End of the course: Wednesday, 18 June.
  • Holy Week: from Monday 14 to Saturday 19 April.
  • Dates of issue of academic records (for free): from 30 June to 04 July.
  • Summer holidays: from 21 to 31 July.


ASSESSMENT


  • The final grade will be the average of two midterm exams:
    • 1st midterm exam (Units 6 to 8B): 07 and 09 April.
    • 2nd midterm exam (Units 8C to 10): 11 and 16 June.
  • Passing grade: 8.0, together with 80% of attendance.
  • 5 consecutive absences cause dropping out.

CLASS RULES

  • You must attend the class with your coursebook.
  • Your material has to be original.
  • Punctuality is really important. If you are late and there's already an activity in progress, you will have to wait for it to finish and take part in the next one.
  • Use of English in class is essential. Try not to speak in Spanish. Interact with the teacher and your classmates in English as much as possible. 
  • Please avoid instant messaging during our class.
  • Please, don't use translators, use dictionaries instead.

OTHER ASPECTS

  • A monolingual dictionary is recommended in class and for homework. Please avoid the use of translators or AI apps.
  • The use of the digital resources of the Cambridge One platform will be part of your continuous assessment activities.
  • You can hand in late activities and/or projects, however, they will be marked out of 80 points instead of 100 points.
